We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to help us grow our business across multiple markets. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with clients through various channels, such as face-to-face meetings, email, and phone calls. They should be strategic, reliable, and capable of driving our business goals and ensuring sustainable growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to present, promote, and sell the company’s products/services to potential clients, including schools, proprietors, and stakeholders across various sectors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and convert leads into customers.
• Emphasize product features to demonstrate how they solve customer needs and provide value.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products/services to better serve clients.
• Achieve agreed-upon business targets within set timeframes.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to align business strategies and goals.
• Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to nurture relationships.
• Attend team meetings and business events to stay aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a business manager, sales representative, or marketer in the software or education sector.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) for lead generation, customer engagement, and brand promotion.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to build productive professional relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret sales metrics and data.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs, following the BT Customer Guidelines Checklist (CGC).

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

We already have a team of developer who works with us as a full-time on a remote/office  basis since 2018, so you would work alongside this person to:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with MySQL
• Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP8+, Angular) etc.
• Front End experience with JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
• Decide on the best technologies and languages for the project.
• Test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases.
• Must have a working laptop and a working environment
• Build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data.
• Knowledge of OOP and main design patterns
• Meet designers, developers and project staff for progress updates.
• Gather requirements from clients and users.
• Learn and test new technologies, frameworks and languages.
• Build and maintain databases.
• Document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it.
• Attend and speak at web development conferences and workshops.
• Design information architecture within an application or website.
• This role involves offering mentorship and guidance to fellow team members, as well as serving as an authority on process improvements and policy establishment. As an expert in the field, the individual in this position is responsible for providing direction and guidance to help the team reach their goals.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• At least 4 - 5 years of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong Knowledge of PHP
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field
• Contribute to the UI/UX development for clients.
• Laravel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
